Doga Schools Father's Day - TV Promo
Doğa Schools are one of the most established education providers from kindergarten to high school with a total of 123 campuses in Turkey.
BRIEF:
Doğa Schools and Y&R İstanbul Agency were teamed up to celebrate the father's day with three animated videos. They wanted to portrait important figures from science history and position them as fathers of their related fields. The concepts; Father of Astronomy (Galileo), Father of Physics (Newton), Father of Alternative Current (Tesla)
CHALLENGES:
They were looking for a warm connection with the viewer, so the voice-over speaks emotional moments about each historical figures. The production deadline was pretty close due to Father's Day.
UNIQUE SOLUTION:
The voice-over was providing visual cues about the animation, and we wanted to approach in a more surreal and stylistic way. Used a black and white colour palette and added some aberration effects during the post-production. Frame by frame animations created a smooth flow as the story progresses and enabled us to approach the scenes more creatively.
