FX - Twin Peaks Season 3 TV Promo

Twenty-six years after the last episode of David Lynch's Twin Peaks aired, the 90's cult series has been renewed for a third season in 2017. In anticipation, FX channel commissioned us to distil the previous 30 episodes into a one minute short that would introduce the series to a new audience.

BRIEF:

FX channel of FOX Network wanted to introduce the essential concepts of the series to the new and younger audiences as a TV Promo.

CHALLENGES:

Twin Peaks is a mystery thriller with a huge fan base all over the world. We had to satisfy existing fans and be able to catch the attention of the new generation. Also, we had to summarize the whole legacy in a minute. And tv executives were demanding localization for the Turkish audience.

UNIQUE SOLUTION:

We watched every episode of Twin Peaks, took notes and did our research about the fan base. Used a red, black and white colour palette to represent the mood of the tv series. We added subtle and obvious details from Turkish culture for localization.
